We pride ourselves on not only having a broad selection of finishes available but also ones that keep to the sustainable ethos that Zero follows. We aim to use products that are either sourced from a totally sustainable resource; e.g. ECOboard, or those that do not harm the environment, such as the paints we use, which are VOC free.
All our veneers are sourced from FSC certified suppliers, ensuring we not only have responsibly sustainable suppliers, but that we have a consistently good quality. Our standard veneers are Oak, Walnut, Elm and Cherry. If there is something a little more exotic you are after, please let us know.
Our matt paint finishes are made using the Lakeland Organic Paints range, which have no solvents, VOC’s, pesticides, toxins or herbicides. The colour range is broad and their heritage is outstanding. Their paint is used in the Louvre to ensure the fumes do not damage any of the works of art contained inside.
We also offer a melamine finish when required, which is available on request as it can cross into the harmful emissions arena. However, the melamine manufacturer that we use; Dhuospan, states that their melamine complies with the required emission class E1 and can therefore be considered harmless. The colour chart can be found by clicking here – this finish can be a viable option when budgets are being squeezed.
